Pogodi grad · Yu Guess: Privacy Policy
Effective date: 3 November 2026
Pogodi grad / Yu Guess ("the game") — on the web at yuguess.com and as a mobile app — is made by the Yu Guess team ("we"). In short: we do not collect, receive or see any of your personal data. There are no accounts and no tracking by us. The mobile app shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google may collect some data to show those ads (see below).
What stays on your device
The game saves your settings and results in your browser's or device's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to us:
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Language, script and game-mode choices | To show the game the way you left it |
| Today's guesses (daily and practice rounds) | So you can keep playing and see the map with your guesses |
| Statistics (games played, win %, streak, guess distribution) | To show your personal stats |
Clearing the site's storage in your browser, or uninstalling the app, deletes all of this. There is no way for us to recover it, because we never receive it.
Sharing
When you tap "Share", your result text is created on your device and shared through your device's share sheet or copied to your clipboard. We do not receive a copy.
Hosting and analytics
The website is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard technical request data (IP address, browser type, requested files) to deliver the pages and protect against abuse. We do not use this to identify visitors.
The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count anonymous page views. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, collects no personal data, and cannot be used to identify or track individual visitors. The mobile app contains no analytics of any kind — it phones home with nothing, ever.
Advertising (mobile app — Google AdMob)
The mobile app uses Google AdMob to show ads, including optional "rewarded" ads you choose to watch. To show and measure ads and prevent fraud, Google may collect:
- your device's advertising ID,
- approximate location derived from your IP address,
- information about your device and how you interact with ads,
- diagnostic data such as crash and performance information.
This data goes directly to Google, not to us. See how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.
Your choices
- EEA, UK and Switzerland (app): before ads are shown, the app asks for your consent to personalised ads using Google's consent tool. If you decline, Google may still show non-personalised ads.
- Everyone (app): you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your phone's settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
